Getting to Pragati Maidan: Metro, Parking and Passes

A short, practical note on getting in without losing an hour at the entrance.

By Metro

Supreme Court station on the Blue Line is the closest stop to the exhibition complex and is usually faster than driving, particularly on a weekday morning. Mandi House, on the Blue and Violet lines, is the next nearest interchange.

By car

Pragati Maidan has paid parking, and it fills early on the first day of a large show. If you are driving in from Gurugram or Noida, leave earlier than the map suggests. Cabs and autos can drop close to the gates.

By train and air

New Delhi railway station is a short ride away. From Indira Gandhi International Airport, the Airport Express to New Delhi station and then the Blue Line avoids the worst of the road traffic.

Before you arrive

Register online in advance - visitor entry is free - and carry the confirmation on your phone along with a photo ID. Badge collection is far quicker with the confirmation in hand than without it.
